Stephen Blewett has assumed his role as the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, taking over from Selorm Adadevoh who now serves as the Chief Commercial Officer of the MTN Group.
Blewett brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the MTN Operations Executive for Markets.
In this capacity, he oversaw the Group’s smaller West and Central Africa markets and provided operational support across the region to the Group’s Senior Vice President for Markets.
However, his association with MTN isn’t new; he has held significant roles within the company previously.
He served as the CEO of MTN Benin and later as the CEO of MTN Cameroon, accumulating a total of seven years of experience within the MTN network.
Blewett’s extensive experience in telecommunications, particularly within the African market, positions him well to lead MTN Ghana.
His leadership will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and strategic objectives in the Ghanaian telecommunications sector.
“We welcome Stephen into the MTN Ghana family and look forward to working with him to move the company forward to achieve our Ambition 2025 strategy and beyond,” says the Chairman of the Board of MTN Ghana, Ishmael Yamson.
