Stephanie Travers in 2020 became the first Black woman to stand on a Formula 1 podium.

She was born in Harare, Zimbabwe.

In March 2019, she was selected from 7,000 entrants globally to join the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team as a Trackside Fluid Engineer working alongside Lewis Hamilton.

Stephanie holds a Master of Science in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bradford, and an MBA Essential Certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

She is currently a Deputy Team Principal at TEAM X44 and a Senior Development Officer at Mission 44.
